Since Donald P. Hinckley founded the firm in 1972 it has continued to evolve. The firm became a partnership in 1974 when Randy Schwendiman was admitted. The partnership incorporated in 1977, becoming Hinckley & Schwendiman, P.A. and in 1985 Randy Sutton purchased Donald Hinckley’s interest in the corporation.  The name was subsequently changed to Schwendiman & Sutton, P.A. In 1992 Lyle Simmons was admitted as an owner and the name was changed again to Schwendiman Sutton & Simmons, P.A.

Twenty four years later the firm is continuing to change. We have added four new accountants, Melanee Sutton, Zach Sutton, Wyatt Sutton, and Curtis Simmons. In 44 years, our Firm has grown from one CPA and one assistant to six CPAs and six additional staff members.

In 2015 Randall M. Schwendiman retired and went on to serve an LDS Mission with his wife, Sherie.  With the retirement of Randy Schwendiman it is time to open a new chapter, and we have once again changed our name. We will now be known as Sutton & Simmons PLLC.

It has been a privilege to rub shoulders and build friendships with so many of you. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you as our firm continues to grow and transform.
