Melanee Sutton
CPA, Partner
Melanee is one of the partners at Sutton and Simmons, having graduated from Utah State University and bringing 30 years of industry experience. She specializes in all aspects of tax and business. To stay current in the accounting world, Melanee completes her continuing education hours every year. Her favorite thing about Southeast Idaho is the locals. When she’s not working, you can find her enjoying a warmer climate destination or cheering at a local sporting event.
Curtis Simmons
CPA, Partner
Curtis earned his BS from BYU Idaho and an MSA from the University of Idaho. Curtis has been a CPA since 2011 and he specializes in small business, international, and expat taxes. He stays updated on industry trends and best practices by attending annual conferences and seminars, taking continuing education courses, and following several accounting news websites. In addition to his professional work, Curtis has dedicated time to coaching youth football and baseball. He appreciates the local community and the small-town feel, and he is a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan.
Wyatt Sutton
CPA, Partner
Wyatt, an alumnus of BYU Idaho with a background in accounting, is a certified CPA with over 15 years of experience in the field. He specializes in agricultural, small business, and individual tax services, and values the chance to assist and collaborate with members of the local community. Wyatt particularly enjoys the family-oriented outdoor activities available in the area, such as golfing, camping, and horseback riding. A passionate baseball enthusiast, he has participated in or attended four distinct World Series events.
Brett Zollinger
CPA
Brett holds a BS in Accounting from BYU Idaho and an MSA from the University of Phoenix. With over 17 years of experience and a CPA certification, Brett specializes in tax expertise and is currently accepting new clients. He stays current in his field through continuing education literature and courses. Brett has a strong appreciation for the local community and enjoys spending time outdoors. Tanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from BYU Idaho and has over 15 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience. In her free time, Linda loves to crochet and creates all kinds of beautiful gifts for her family and friends.
