Since Donald P. Hinckley founded the firm in 1972 it has continued to evolve. The firm became a partnership in 1974 when Randy Schwendiman was admitted. The partnership incorporated in 1977, becoming Hinckley & Schwendiman, P.A. and in 1985 Randy Sutton purchased Donald Hinckley's interest in the corporation.
